VIAL FORMING AUTOMAT CCOFR-VA-12

This machine having 12 working stations is designed with the sole object to simplify to manufacture the Vials from Neutral glass tubing. The machine consist of two sections, table ‘A’ and table ‘B’ which operate in synchronism and are erected on a one cast iron body. The Vial necks are formed in section ‘A’ the bottoms on section ‘B’.

THE SYSTEM :
Section ‘A’ is equipped with 12 chucks, which are rotated in a circle passing stepwise around a central axis. These chucks receive the full length of glass tubing and carry them through the various operating stations. First of all after the required pre-heating the desired shape of neck or screw neck is formed at the lower end of the glass tube. The glass tube is moved with the shaped neck downward unit it reach the position where it drops onto on adjustable stop, which is governing the length of Vial. Subsequently while being heated the formed piece of glass tube is drawn down at the sealing off station by means of jaws from below while the bottom is being formed. Here the glass tube take place at the very between center of two chucks of intersection between  table ‘A’ and table ‘B’, so that the chucks pass the vials through the operating station in section ‘B’ to permit the bottom to be formed, finished and the vial to eject to drop in the tray. The chucks in section ‘A’ move with glass tube to a burner, which opens the bottom, which has been already formed during the sealing off process and then through the operating stations for forming the Vial neck again.
